California Climate Action – Home Energy Programs
The State offers programs for renters and homeowners for home emergency efficiency improvements.
Energy efficiency saves you money. It makes it cheaper to heat or cool your home to be comfortable in it. Using less energy also makes it easier to get our energy from green sources like solar power.
GoGreen Home Loans – State of California gogreen Financing.
Loans with zero fees or closing costs are available to renters and homeowners to pay for energy-efficient improvements in your home. A broad range of credit scores and home types are eligible for GoGreen Home loans.
Pacific Power Home Energy Savings Assistance
California Energy Savings Assistance (ESA) program and Weatherization Services offer a variety of energy-saving options designed to lower bills while keeping your home comfortable. Installations include insulation, energy-efficient showerheads, LED bulbs, and more.
California Electric Homes – California Energy Commission
The California Electric Homes Program provides technical assistance and financial incentives to residential developers and builders constructing new, market-rate homes with all-electric appliances and equipment. The program supports all-electric new construction practices, drives energy savings, and supports California’s advanced energy efficiency policy goals.
Affordable Housing and Sustainable Communities (AHSC) Program – California Department of Housing and Community Development
The AHSC Program provides grants and/or loans, or any combination thereof, to Projects that seek to integrate low-carbon transportation and affordable housing, with an emphasis on providing benefits to Disadvantaged and Low-Income Communities.
The AHSC Program identifies three eligible Project Area Types:
• Transit Oriented Development (TOD) Project Areas,
• Integrated Connectivity Project (ICP) Project Areas, or
• Rural Innovation Project Areas (RIPA).
