Florence Keller Park is located three miles north of Crescent City on Hwy 101. Signs located along the Highway will direct you to Elk Valley Crossroad and then to the park. The park has 47 campsites nestled among a mature grove of towering redwoods. Florence Keller Park accommodates tent camping and small RVs. There are seven easy-walking trails, one of which is wheelchair accessible. A large picnic area and a small picnic area are available to rent for groups and parties. The park also offers a playground and horseshoe pits. Pets are welcome as long as they remain on a leash.

Florence Davis Keller, an accomplished artist and teacher set out on vacation with her husband Wesley Earle Keller, to Del Norte County in 1927. Not long after the Kellers arrived, their attention was brought to "The Never Dying Redwood" which was in private ownership at the time and faced possible destruction. After some negotiating, the Kellers acquired the property along with several acres of surrounding property totaling 148 acres. In June of 1967, Earle Keller deeded 20 acres (of the 26 acres that comprise the park) to the County of Del Norte with the agreement that it would be set aside as a recreational park and named Florence Keller Park in honor of Mrs. Keller.
