Sheriff Online Information System - CURRENTLY OFFLINE

A new updated system will replace it, and is expected to be live by 11/1/2024.***
The Del Norte County Sheriff's Office is upgrading from our 30 year-old Law Enforcement, Corrections, and Dispatch software to a new, modern system. During the transition, our public online information system (for viewing call logs and booking information) will be down for roughly 30 days. We understand this is an inconvenience but ask for your patience as we implement this much-needed upgrade to our operations.
Our online information system will also be impacted by a recent 9th Circuit Court of Appeals ruling in the case of Houston v. Maricopa County. Due to this ruling, the Del Norte County Sheriff's Office will no longer be posting booking photographs of arrestees.

The Del Norte County Sheriff's Office is responsible for maintaining the peace and providing a safer community for those that live and work in Del Norte County. We have a staff of dedicated deputies, correctional officers, and professionals who work daily to meet those goals. The Del Norte County Sheriff's Office has a patrol division, jail division, civil office, court security, and county wide emergency communications. We also have special operations with boating safety and waterways program and Search and Rescue.

The California State Victim Notification Service (VINE) is a service through which victims of crime can use the telephone or internet to search for information regarding their offender's custody status and register to receive telephone and email notification when their offender's custody status changes. The VINE Toll-Free Number for California VINE is 1.877.411.5588.
A system has been set up allowing the public to submit confidential and anonymous tips to the Del Norte County Sheriff's Department. You can submit your tip by using an online form or simply texting your tip. This system is confidential and 100% anonymous.
