Treasurer

The County Treasurer is charged with the responsibility for the prudent care and management of county, school district, and special district funds. The Treasurer is responsible for the daily receipt and deposit of public funds from all county departments into the County Treasury. The County Treasurer has developed a procedure for the inflow and outflow of funds and a policy for the investment of idle funds. A county investment policy is updated and presented to the county board of supervisors on an annual basis. The county treasury oversight committee is charged with the review and monitoring of the treasurer’s investment policy. The committee meets quarterly. In addition, the treasurer presents a quarterly treasurer's report to the board of supervisor's discussing recent investment activity and cash flow projections.
